DesktopUI licenses keep running out

Hi,

We have a redundant system where we have repeatedly noticed that we seem to run out of DesktopUI licenses. We have 3 DesktopUI (redu) licenses on each WinCC-OA server and it works fine for a while, eventually we seem to run out of licenses however and when we check the System Diagnostics we can see that one of the servers has several interfaces open even though we may only be using the GEDI on this machine.

It seems very strange and I am wondering if anyone has ever come across something like this.

The number of Ui licenses in a redundant system cannot be counted as 3 licenses on the left server and 3 licenses on the right server is 6 UI licenses.
As a UI connects by default to both redundant servers it requests a Ui license at every server.
By reading the elements of the _Connections(_2).Ui.* datapoint you can see where a user interface is running which is currently connected to the Event Manager.
